# Project: 10x Goal Setting & Execution — Mike Ziarko

## Status: ACTIVE — Building framework, then filling in goals

## The Hybrid Framework: "10x System"

Combines three sources:
- **Matt Gray's 10-3-1-90** — vision structure
- **EOS Rocks** — execution simplicity
- **Huberman's Neuroscience** — how to make it stick

---

### LAYER 1: Vision (10-3-1-90)

**10-Year North Star**
- Should sound slightly crazy
- "What if everything went right?"
- *(TO BE FILLED IN)*

**3-Year Milestone**
- What needs to be true for the 10yr to be on track?
- *(TO BE FILLED IN)*

**1-Year Target**
- Aggressive but actionable
- Specific enough to visualize crossing the finish line
- *(TO BE FILLED IN)*

**90-Day Rocks (Q2 2026: April-June)**
- Max 3 rocks. That's it.
- Each one: specific, measurable, slightly terrifying (50-85% chance of failure = dopamine sweet spot)
- *(TO BE FILLED IN)*

---

### LAYER 2: Execution Rules

1. **3 Rocks per quarter, no more.** If it's not a rock, it waits or gets delegated.
2. **Each rock has a visible finish line.** Not "grow marketing" but "150 recurring customers by June 30."
3. **Weekly micro-milestones** to beat the "middle problem" — break each rock into ~12 weekly checkpoints.
4. **Harvey checks in daily:** "Which rock are you moving today?" (via morning briefing or DM)
5. **Harvey tracks the scoreboard** — visual progress against each rock, updated weekly.
6. **Random reinforcement** — don't celebrate every milestone on schedule. Sometimes acknowledge big, sometimes quietly note progress.
7. **Quarterly review** — honest assessment. What worked, what didn't, set next 3 rocks.

---

### LAYER 3: Why This Works for Mike's Brain (ADHD + Neuroscience)

- **Low baseline dopamine** → needs slightly-scary goals to generate enough drive (safe goals = no motivation)
- **Starts strong, drifts in middle** → 90-day chunks with weekly milestones keep "start/finish" energy high
- **Forgets/loses track** → Harvey handles all tracking and accountability
- **Big vision thinker** → 10-year north star feeds the dream, rocks keep it grounded
- **Solo founder** → Harvey replaces the EOS leadership team for accountability
- **Action over theory** → framework is simple enough to start TODAY

---

### LAYER 4: Mike's Goals

#### 10-Year North Star (2036) — Target: $1.5M personal income
- NMC is ONE piece, not the whole equation ($200-300K from NMC)
- NMC runs without Mike, generates cash, possibly sold
- Rest comes from other ventures built on AI/systems expertise
- Research confirmed: $300K is roughly the ceiling for single residential cleaning operation
- Key question: sequential (NMC first) vs simultaneous (build other things in parallel)?
- Vision: "Mike builds businesses that run on AI systems. NMC was the first proof of concept."
- Days are his: ski, travel, workout, family, work on what excites him
- Small team (humans + AI) executes, Mike provides direction

#### 3-Year Milestone (2029)
*(NOT STARTED)*

#### 1-Year Target (2026)
*(NOT STARTED)*

#### Q2 2026 Rocks (April-June)
*(NOT STARTED)*

## Source Material
- Matt Gray / Founder OS: "Why Your Goals Are Too Small" (email, Feb 17 2026)
- Dan Sullivan & Benjamin Hardy: "10x Is Easier Than 2x"
- Andrew Huberman: Science of Setting & Achieving Goals (podcast episode)
- Gino Wickman: Traction (EOS/Rocks)
- James Clear: Atomic Habits (systems > goals)

## History
- Feb 27, 2026: Mike shared PDF in DM, discussed framework (notes lost — memory failure)
- Mar 5, 2026: Resumed in Personal group chat. Built hybrid framework combining 10-3-1-90 + EOS Rocks + Huberman neuroscience. Starting to fill in goals.
