# Project: mikeziarko.com — Personal Brand Hub
Created: 2026-03-09
Status: RESEARCH COMPLETE — Awaiting Mike's review

## Why This Is Step Zero
Every other venture (newsletter, consulting, CleanOS, SaaS) benefits from a personal brand hub. It compounds. One site, one identity, everything links back.

## Positioning
**"Home services operator who builds AI systems"**
- 10 years running a $700K+ cleaning company
- Built AI receptionist (Leah), automated ops with AI agents
- Unique angle: not a tech bro theorizing. Actually runs the business.

## Recommended Stack (Low-Maintenance, AI-Assisted)

### Option A: Ghost (RECOMMENDED)
- **Cost:** $9/month (Starter) or self-hosted free
- **Why:** Built for content creators. Blog + newsletter + membership in one platform. Clean design. Headless CMS option if you want custom frontend later.
- **AI-friendly:** Write posts with AI, schedule via API, RSS for syndication
- **Cons:** Less flexible than full custom, but that's the point (less to maintain)

### Option B: Framer
- **Cost:** $5-15/month
- **Why:** Visual builder, gorgeous templates, ships fast. Great for a "landing page + links" site.
- **AI-friendly:** Framer has AI generation built in
- **Cons:** Not great for blogging/newsletter (would need separate tool)

### Option C: Next.js + Vercel (Custom)
- **Cost:** Free (Vercel hobby tier) or $20/month (pro)
- **Why:** Maximum flexibility. Can build exactly what you want. Mission Control could live here.
- **AI-friendly:** Harvey/Codex can build and maintain it
- **Cons:** More maintenance, needs developer time (even if AI-assisted)

### Option D: WordPress (via existing nomorechores.com hosting)
- **Cost:** Near $0 (already have hosting)
- **Why:** You already know WordPress
- **Cons:** Slower, heavier, more maintenance, less modern feel

### My Recommendation
**Start with Ghost ($9/month).** It handles blog + newsletter + landing page in one tool. When you outgrow it or want Mission Control, migrate to custom Next.js. Don't overengineer step zero.

## Domain
- mikeziarko.com — check availability
- Alternative: mikeziarko.ai (if .com is taken)

## Content Strategy (AI-Assisted)

2. Mike reviews/edits (15 min)
3. Auto-publish on schedule
4. Cross-post to LinkedIn, X
5. Newsletter goes out weekly

## Next Steps (for Mike to decide)
1. [ ] Pick a stack (Ghost recommended)
2. [ ] Secure domain (mikeziarko.com)
3. [ ] Define the one-liner / positioning
4. [ ] First 5 blog post topics
5. [ ] Headshot / photo for the site
6. [ ] Consulting offer details (pricing, format)
