# Twilio → GoHighLevel Setup Guide

## Goal
Use existing Twilio number (647-490-2523) inside GoHighLevel without migrating to LC Phone.

## Steps

### 1. Get Twilio Credentials
- [ ] Log into Twilio Console
- [ ] Note Account SID
- [ ] Note Auth Token
- [ ] Confirm 647-490-2523 is active and SMS/call capable

### 2. Contact GHL Support (if on LC Phone)
- [ ] Check if agency is on LC Phone or Twilio (Settings → Phone System)
- [ ] If LC Phone: contact GHL live support, provide Twilio SID + Auth Token
- [ ] Support will connect sub-account to Twilio on backend

### 3. Connect Sub-Account to Twilio
- Agency Dashboard → click into sub-account (location)
- Settings → Phone Numbers / Twilio Integration
- Click Connect Twilio → enter SID + Auth Token → Save
- If no "Connect Twilio" option visible, support must do it (Step 2)

### 4. Attach Twilio Number
- Settings → Phone Numbers → Add Number
- Select existing Twilio number from list
- Assign as default outbound caller ID (calls)
- Assign as default outbound number (SMS)
- Save

### 5. Test
- [ ] Send test SMS from GHL to personal phone
- [ ] Place test outbound call from GHL dialer
- [ ] Confirm replies come back into GHL Conversations
- [ ] Check call reporting

### Troubleshooting
- Re-check Twilio SID/Auth Token in GHL settings
- Confirm number is active in Twilio (no errors/restrictions)
- If wired by support, verify correct Twilio account attached
